Police to improve discipline: DGP

Director General of Police (DGP) Kailash Makwana said on the occasion of New Year 2025 that the police will have to improve discipline and professional efficiency to maintain law and order and control crimes. He appealed to the policemen to demonstrate sensitivity, prompt action, and supremacy of law.

Makwana described cyber crime, increasing cases of drug abuse, and traffic accidents as serious challenges before the police. He directed the police station staff to ensure sensitive and prompt action towards the victims.

The DGP has wished Happy New Year 2025 on social media platform X.

On the occasion of New Year 2025, Madhya Pradesh's Director General of Police (DGP) Kailash Makwana emphasized the need for the police force to enhance discipline and professional efficiency to maintain law and order and control crime. He urged the police to demonstrate sensitivity, take prompt action, and uphold the supremacy of law.

Makwana identified cybercrime, the rise in drug abuse, and traffic accidents as major challenges facing the police. He directed police station staff to ensure sensitive and prompt responses to victims.

The DGP extended his New Year wishes on the social media platform X. Reflecting on the year gone by, he acknowledged that 2024 posed challenges for the police, but also highlighted significant achievements, including the successful conduct of peaceful Lok Sabha elections.
