Today on 4/1/25, a delegation of NSUI met Ranchi University Vice Chancellor Dr. Ajit Kumar Sinha, congratulated him on the New Year and submitted a memorandum.
State Vice President Aman Ahmad said that for one post applied for the post of Assistant Professor Need Based under Ranchi University, only 5 candidates will be called for document verification and 3 candidates for interview. Whereas it has always been the practice that all the applied candidates are called for document verification and interview, there are 299 need based seats in total 25 subjects, in which more than 1000 candidates have applied for the total seats.
Recently, all the candidates who applied were called for document verification and interview held at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University, Ranchi.
The National Student union of India demands that this type of new monopoly should not be used in the university and all the applied candidates should be called for document verification and interview so that all the candidates get a chance and the right person can be selected.
The Vice Chancellor said that this will be discussed. State Secretary Hussain Ansari, DSPMU President Aryan Kumar, Aryan Singh, and other student leaders were present on the occasion.
