Principal Secretary, Health, Ajoy Kumar Singh along with a little over half a dozen specialist doctors of the RIMS Ranchi would be reaching MMCH on January 9.

Finance minister Radha Krishan Kishore said, "The principal secretary health and his team of specialist doctors would be having interactive sessions with the doctors here giving them tips for handling cases of emergencies."

The minister is too unhappy with the spate of cases being referred to the higher centre in Ranchi by the MMCH when there lies a fair scope of providing treatment here.

Referring cases to higher centres in Ranchi by the MMCH Daltonganj is a rule, not an exception.

The minister told this newspaper "A doctor is the best judge. But even where cases can be handled here efficiently by the doctors, the patients and the attendants are asked to push off from the MMCH Daltonganj."

Speaking to this correspondent the principal secretary Ajoy Kumar Singh said " There would come with me a host of senior and specialist doctors who will be giving notes for better medi care here."

Medical superintendent Dr Dharmendra Kumar said there would be coming a contingent of 9 specialist doctors here along with the principal secretary.
