Governor Patel was addressing the closing ceremony of the National Art Festival organised at the Regional Institute of Education at Shyamla Hills Bhopal campus. On this occasion, he gave awards to the winning students from all over the country for their excellent performance in various forms of art and also honored the judges of various forms of National Art Festival. Governor Patel also visited the art exhibition organised by NCERT.
The National Art Festival was organised from January 3 to 6, 2025 in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Government of India and NCERT. About 600 participants from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya and Eklavya Vidyalaya of India participated in the Art Festival. Governor Patel also congratulated NCERT for organising the National Art Festival in the state capital Bhopal.
Governor Patel said that the Art Festival is an effective attempt to preserve and promote the heritage of country's art and culture in the field of education. The National Education Policy is a project to prepare children as global leaders of the 21st century by enhancing their talent, skills and developing them holistically. It has been prepared with the aim of realising the concept of Developed India 2047, realising the immense potential of the children of the country. He also appealed to the participating students to take part enthusiastically in the Developed India Young Leaders Dialogue programme being organised on January 12.
Governor Patel said that the future generation creates new values ??of their life in accordance with the form of their culture. Therefore, it is the responsibility of all of us to connect children with our rich cultural diversity through experience-based education and to acquaint and inspire them with the glorious vision of Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat.

Secretary of the Central School Education and Literacy Department, Sanjay Kumar expressed his views on the introduction, types and utility of art.
NCERT Director Prof Dinesh Prasad Saklani gave detailed information about the organisation of the Art Festival. National Coordinator Dr. Jyotsna Tiwari presented the annual report of 2024-25 of the Art Festival event. Dr. Deepak Paliwal proposed vote of thanks. Additional Secretary of Central School Education and Literacy Department Anand Rao Patil, art scholars, art gurus, participating students from various disciplines and parents were present at the closing ceremony of the National Art Festival.
