Disciplinary action against staff at health centres

Saturday, 04 January 2025 | Staff Reporter | BHOPAL

Surprise checks at health facilities in the district resulted in disciplinary action against staff members at medical centres in Ratibad and Kolar areas for failing to report for duty at the designated time.

Leading the inspection, Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr Prabhakar Tiwari reviewed staff attendance, discipline, and the quality of services being provided at the centres.

At the Community Health Centre in Kolar, administrative indiscipline was noticed, and one day's salary of all the employees posted at the facility was deducted. Additionally, the institution in charge, Dr Rashmi Verma, was issued a notice for failure in administrative management. Similar action was taken at the Primary Health Centre in Ratibad as well.

The staff at the Primary Health Centres in Gunga and Fanda were found to be working on time.

The review was conducted as part of the ongoing Jab Kalyan Abhiyan in the state capital, which concludes on January 26.
