Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that the newly developed and dedicated CM Rise School in Badnagar will be named after Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, as a tribute to the former Prime Minister who received his early education at this very institution.
Speaking at the dedication ceremony of the school building, constructed at a cost of over Rs 40 crore in Badnagar, Ujjain district, on Sunday, Yadav highlighted the importance of honoring public sentiments when naming villages and cities. He said that Gajnikhedi Panchayat will now be renamed Chamunda Mata, Jahangirpur will be known as Jagdishpur, and Maulana village will be renamed as Vikram Nagar. He emphasized that these changes, , reflect the government’s commitment to preserving cultural heritage and aligning with public sentiment.
Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and New and Renewable Energy Shri Prahlad Joshi was specially present in the dedication programme. Yadav performed Bhoomi Pujan of the new construction works done at a cost of Rs 466.27 lakh in Krishi Upaj Mandi Complex Badnagar and also dedicated 7 newly constructed sub health centres at a cost of Rs 343.80 lakh in Badnagar Assembly constituency.
Yadav dedicated the CM Rise School and inspected the newly constructed building and appreciated the construction work. He also congratulated the people of Badnagar for this new achievement in the New Year.
Yadav said that investment proposals worth Rs 4 lakh crore have been obtained for industrialization in the state in the year 2024. This will provide employment to more than 3 lakh people. With the efforts of industrialization, a factory will be set up by a big industrial group in Badnagar at a cost of Rs 3500 crore. He said that a food processing unit will also be established in Badnagar soon. The Chief Minister said that the Bhoomi Pujan of Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal river linking project has been performed. Its direct benefit will be available to 13 districts of the state. On completion of this project, the fields of Badnagar area will also be lush with crops for all the twelve months. To utilize the talent of the youth of the state in the state itself, we will recruit more than one lakh youth in government service and a campaign is being run for this.
The Chief Minister highlighted the rapid transformation in the state's education sector, emphasizing the government's commitment to revolutionary reforms. He stated that the goal is to provide children in Madhya Pradesh with education of national and international standards, equipping them to effectively face future challenges. CM Rise Schools are emerging as a significant milestone in achieving this vision. Dr. Yadav underscored that shaping the future of children is the government's top priority. He assured that no child would be deprived of school education due to a lack of resources, and efforts are underway to prepare students for future demands. The state is progressing toward modernizing all schools, aiming to bridge the gap between private and government schools by enhancing resources and providing quality education in CM Rise Schools. Additionally, the Chief Minister expressed his resolve to curb the growing preference for private schools by offering superior education in government institutions. He also announced the construction of Gita Bhawans across the state to instill moral values in children, emphasizing the importance of holistic development alongside academic.
Yadav said that places like Ujjain Sandipani Ashram, Janapav, Amjhera etc. of the state related to the Leelas of Lord Krishna are being made pilgrimage areas.
