Ranchi gets best maintained station shield
Under the 69th Railway Week Celebration (Distinguished Railway Service Award Ceremony at the Zonal level) held recently at South Eastern Railway, Kolkata, General Manager, South Eastern Railway, Anil Kumar Mishra, in the presence of senior officials of SER, jointly awarded the shield of best maintained station to Ranchi Station of Ranchi Railway Division along with Bokaro Steel City Station to Sr DCM cum CPRO Nishant Kumar. DRM Jasmeet Singh Bindra, in the presence of Sr DOM Shreya Singh, presented the shield of the best maintained station to Ranchi station's Station Manager Raj Kumar Gupta and Chief Health Inspector Ashutosh Kumar for their contribution towards the good maintenance and cleanliness of Ranchi station, appreciating their contribution towards the good maintenance and cleanliness of Ranchi station, for display at Ranchi station to encourage the employees working at Ranchi station to do better work in future.
Get together for Std X at SBPS
SBPS, Ranchi organised a special get-together for the students of Std X to unwind themselves. It was incredible to see everyone come together, share laughter, and make memories that would last a lifetime. The students enjoyed each other’s company while playing games like mat race, three-legged race, bat & ball balance race, musical chairs and tug-of-war. They also bonded over the delicious food afterwards. The students of every section presented special dance and song performances. The winners of various games were rewarded by the Principal. The students got an opportunity to spend some quality time with their classmates and make new memories. Principal, Paramjit Kaur, impressed upon them the need for mindful living at this crucial juncture of their life. She advised them to remain focused and start the new year with renewed vigour, learning from the past mistakes and setting goals for success in the upcoming examinations and in life.
DAV Gumla student participates in ‘Prerna’
Tasha Jha, a student of Std 11 of DAV Public School Gumla has been participating in 'Prerana: An Experiential Learning Programme' for students of Classes 9 to 12. In this National Program, running from 28th of December to 04th of January, Tasha is participating with 19 other students selected from 10 states of the country. It is a week-long programme for the students at the vernacular school in Vadnagar in Mehsana district of Gujarat, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi studied. Students are being taught about the history of the country, where it stands at present, the scientific advancements and achievements of the country. Tasha along with her Escort teacher Miss Chhavi Kriti are very curious as well as excited for experiential learning.
