Achieving total public satisfaction is our ultimate aim: CM

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that public welfare through good governance is the core objective of the government. He assured that the state government is fully committed to ensure that citizens reap the maximum benefits of its efforts. Highlighting the government’s dedication, he stated that tireless efforts are being made for public welfare, and the government will remain steadfast in achieving its goals.

Yadav noted that the ultimate reward for the government is achieving cent percent public satisfaction. He urged public representatives to actively collaborate with the government and prioritize the completion of development projects in their respective areas. The Chief Minister shared these remarks while reviewing the ongoing development and construction projects in the Narmadapuram division on Thursday.

In the meeting held at the Chief Minister’s residence, Rajya Sabha MP Smt. Maya Narolia, senior MLA itasharan Sharma, MLA  Chandrashekhar Deshmukh, MLA Vijay Pal Singh along with other regional MLAs and public representatives participated virtually in the meeting. Chief Secretary Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretary in Chief Minister’s Office Rajesh Rajora, Additional Chief Secretary SN Mishra, Additional Chief Secretary Ashok Barnwal, Additional Chief Secretary Anupam Rajan, Principal Secretary Deepali Rastogi, Principal Secretary Sanjay Shukla, Principal Secretary Rashmi Arun Shami and other senior officers were present at the meeting.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav directed public representatives to take a proactive role in ensuring the timely completion of public works. He said that good governance is essential for maintaining the trust of the people in the government and achieving the overarching goal of public welfare. Dr. Yadav instructed all MLAs to submit written proposals of five major construction projects from their respective assembly constituencies, along with other development suggestions, to the Additional Chief Secretary in charge of their division. He assured that the government would ensure the timely completion of these projects and take appropriate action on the proposals submitted.

Chief Minister Yadav took feedback from the MLAs of the Narmadapuram division area regarding the Jankalyan Abhiyan running since 11 December 2024. He said that this is a campaign for the people’s welfare, which cannot be completed without the participation of public representatives. Public representatives should go among the public and personally take information from them about the objectives and goals of the campaign. It must be ensured that all eligible beneficiaries get the benefit of the campaign. If there is any hindrance in providing benefits to the beneficiaries, it should be resolved with guidance from the Collector, Commissioner, or at the Government level.

Chief Minister Yadav said that those MLAs who have not yet prepared the vision document (roadmap for development) of their assembly constituency, should prepare the document as soon as possible and send it to them (Chief Minister’s Secretariat). The government is seriously working on the vision document of all the assembly constituencies of the state.

Public representatives who joined the meeting virtually, expressed happiness at the Regional Industry Conclave held in Narmadapuram on 7 December last month and thanked Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. The public representatives of Narmadapuram said that the Chief Minister will be felicitated by the citizens on his upcoming visit to Narmadapuram.

In the meeting, Chief Minister Yadav also had one-to-one discussions with MLAs. A request was received from MLA Sohagpur to upgrade the Makhan Nagar community health center to a health center and approve 50 beds here. The Chief Minister directed the Principal Secretary, Health to take immediate action. On the demand to open a government ITI center in Tehsil Bankhedi, Chief Minister Yadav instructed the officials of the Technical Education and Skill Development Department to take immediate action on it. The Sohagpur MLA demanded approval of Rs 10 crore for the construction of a new office building of SDM office Sohagpur and Makhan Nagar along with other departments. The Chief Minister directed the Principal Secretary of Revenue to take appropriate action. In the meeting, Commissioner Narmadapuram gave information about the implementation of proposals related to various departments in the division.
