Food and Civil Supply Department Minister Irfan Ansari said that in view of the difficulties of the people of the State, clear instructions have been given to the department that 4G POS machines should be installed as soon as possible in place of 2G POS machines.
The Minister said that due to the presence of 2G POS machines in all the Public Distribution System shops of the state, the beneficiaries are facing a lot of difficulties in distributing grains in proper quantity and on time, as well as the people of the state are not able to get KYC done and get grains in proper quantity.
Ansari said that the villagers of the state are not able to get their grains on time. "Appropriate steps are being taken by the department to strengthen this system. In this regard, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has given clear instructions that protein-rich pulses, sugar, soybean etc. are not available in adequate quantity to the children of remote tribal and hill people of the state. Due to which the children of the state are becoming malnourished.
