Politicians are not willing to let the issue of writing names of shopkeepers during Kanwar Yatra as in the latest Pragya Thakur's tweet in fuelling the issue while Congress is also not ready to miss the opportunity.

Politics over the issue is witnessed in the state as former BJP MP from Bhopal Sadhvi Pragya Thakur has asked Hindus to write their names on their shops. Congress has also reacted to Pragya Thakur's tweet.

Pragya Thakur wrote, 'I appeal to every Hindu to write their name on their shop, their establishment. Now whoever writes, he is a Hindu and whoever does not write the name, he is not a Hindu. No one can stop you from writing the name, because the country is yours. Then everyone is sensible.'

On Pragya Thakur's statement, Congress spokesperson Abhinav Baroliya said, 'It seems that Pragya Thakur considers herself above the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court's order has come that the country will not tolerate hatred. But, Pragya Thakur, who spreads hatred, wants to create an atmosphere of animosity and hatred again with her words.'

Baroliya said, 'The government and the court should take cognizance of what action should be taken against those who think like this. This country has rejected hatred in elections. The public will not accept Pragya Thakur's hate-mongering talks.'

Samajwadi Party state president Dr. Manoj Yadav said, 'Senior BJP leader Pragya Singh Thakur has always worked to divide the country. She was an MP from Bhopal for 5 years, tell us what she did for the development of the people and Madhya Pradesh, tell us any one good work.'

He said, 'She raised slogans of Godse Zindabad in Parliament, this shows how big a patriot and Hindu she is. Pay attention to the problems of the people, Madhya Pradesh is becoming poor, pay attention to this. The people have taught a lesson, will teach in the coming times too.'

BJP MLA Ramesh Mendola has written a letter to the CM demanding that an order be passed to write the name of the shopkeeper in front of every shop in the state.

Amidst the politics that started from UP, two weeks ago, two BJP MLAs from Indore had written a letter to CM Dr. Mohan Yadav demanding an order to write the names of the owners on the shops in MP as well. BJP MLA Ramesh Mendola and Malini Gaur have written a letter to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav demanding that an order be passed to write the name of the shopkeeper in front of every shop in the entire state.

In the letter, Mendola said that the name of any person is his identity and anyway asking the name is the customer's right. Therefore, the shopkeeper should be proud to tell his name, not ashamed. This will establish the identity of the shopkeeper in the society. Also, all shopkeepers will also try to give better service to the customers to increase their name and goodwill.
