A man and his son were arrested and charged with treason for hoisting the Pakistani flag on the roof of their house in Moradabad. The action was taken after a video went viral on social media on Thursday morning.
Reports said that a video in Bhagatpur police station area went viral on social media and the Pakistani flag was seen placed on the roof of a house and hoisted by two persons on Thursday morning.
As soon as the Bhagatpur police received information about the viral video. They reached the spot and took photographs. They also made a video of the flag installed on the roof of the house, owned by one Raees. The cops subsequently took Raees and his son Salman, seen hoisting the flag, in custody.
The police have registered a case of treason against Raees, a textile businessman, along with his son Salman. The Pakistani flag was removed from the roof of Raees’s house by the police. Both the accused were later produced before a magistrate from where they were sent to jail while further investigations were on.
