Saturday, 06 July 2024 | Staff Reporter | BHOPAL

The team of Madhya PradeshChild Protection Commission inspected the madrasas of Bhopal on Friday. The team first reached Siddiqia Darul Uloom madrasa in Machana Colony located at bus stop number 5. The madrasa was found closed today on Friday instead of Sunday.

Commission member Omkar Singh said that according to the government rules, there should be a holiday on Sunday here. But, there is a holiday here today on Friday. We will investigate this. Otherwise everything is fine here.

Dr. Nivedita Sharma said that this madrasa is registered. Madrasas are registered in two ways. One type of madrasas are those which take government aid. In these, the government helps in other things apart from mid-day meals whereas this madrasa is just registered.

Madrasa member Mohammad Faizan said that today is a holiday here because it is Jumma. Studies are held in the madrasa on Sunday as well. All subjects are taught here along with Hindi, English, and Arabic. On the holiday on Friday instead of Sunday, he said that Jumma is a very big day in Shariat. Children do all their work along with namaaz on Fridays. That is why there is a holiday on Friday instead of Sunday.

MLA Atif Aqeel from Bhopal North has expressed displeasure over the investigation of the madrasa located in Machana Colony. He said that whenever the government gets caught in corruption, it starts doing such things to escape from it. Jain saints were tortured here. The government has not done anything in this matter till date. The principal of the place where poor children study makes arrangements for their food and accommodation by collecting donations. The government should be ashamed. The virus that has entered the minds of these people should be removed.

All the arrangements were found to be correct in Anganwadi Center 1011 located at number 6.

After inspecting the madrasa of Machana Colony, the team of the Child Commission reached Anganwadi Center 1011 located at number 6. Here the mid-day meal was inspected. Child Commission member Dr Nivedita said that Anganwadi is good. Food is being provided properly. Children are also being looked after properly. 29 children aged 3 to 6 years and 49 children aged 0 to 3 years are registered in this centre. She said that one deficiency has been found here. There was a problem with the water in the washroom. It has been asked to be fixed.
