Alertness of woman saved a four-year-old girl from bad intentions of the accused who lured her of chocolate and took to a forest near Indrapuri; Piplani police have started searching for the accused who was captured in CCTV footage.
The accused boy took the girl to the forest area in Indrapuri on the pretext of giving her chocolate. The saviour woman passing by spotted the girl crying. Sensing that he was trapped, the accused fled from the spot.
The incident occurred on Monday afternoon around 3 PM. Rakhi Mishra, who lives in Indrapuri, was going to her house spotted the victim crying with a young man near the forest. She stopped them and questioned the girl, the boy with her started running away and when she chased him along with two auto rickshaw drivers, he fled the spot.
Piplani police station in-charge Anurag Lal said that investigation is being done in the matter. The case has not been registered yet.
Rakhi Mishra is a housewife. She was returning home after getting a checkup from AIIMS.
The accused took the girl to the forest area in Indrapuri on the pretext of chocolate.
Rakhi Mishra said that she was returning from AIIMS after a checkup at around 3 pm. On the road from Indrapuri to AIIMS where there are vacant quarters, the girl was seen crying on the road. She was with a young man and the girl's underwear was in the girl's hand. When I asked the young man, he ran away and she rescued the girl.
She raised the alarm and two auto rickshaw drivers came to help and chased the accused but he managed to escape. After this, three women also came to help and immediately took the girl to Piplani police station. From where the girl's parents were contacted.
The girl's parents and Rakhi Mishra, who saved her, checked the girl thoroughly, they did not feel at all that something wrong had happened to the girl.
The mother said that when asked, the girl said that the young man had touched her inappropriately after taking off her pyjama. However, the girl was found within 1 hour. On the other hand, the police said that the investigation is still going on.
The mother said that the girl is fine. I had also gone out for a walk with the girl. She was swinging in the park in front, when my son returned from school, I went to drop her inside. When I came out and looked, the girl was not on the swing. When I asked the girl at the police station, she said that the uncle had said that he would get her a chocolate, so she went with him.
