Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited wins ‘Deming Prize 2024’ in recognition of its Total Quality Management (TQM) practices. Although, the award ceremony to felicitate the winners will take place in November 2024. The Deming Grand Prize, is one of the longstanding quality awards presented by the Union of Japanese Scientists and Engineers (JUSE). It is awarded to companies that not only achieve the Deming Prize but also consistently maintain and improve their TQM standards for an extended period. Tata Power-DDL has been on the TQM journey for over six years towards becoming a global benchmark.
With this recognition, the company has set the benchmark of being the First Power Distribution Company in the world to achieve this feat. The TQM practices have enabled the transformation of the processes and elevated the business performance to benchmark levels.
