The Pentecostal Assembly School resonated with fervor and patriotism on 31st October 2023, as it commemorated the spirit of unity on the occasion of 'National Unity Day.' This momentous celebration was dedicated to the memory of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, fondly remembered as the Iron Man of India. The event was marked with various inspiring activities, culminating in a unified pledge taken by the entire school community.
In a special assembly organized by Class 7-C, students came together to honor the life and contributions of Sardar Patel, invoking his values of unity and resilience. Demonstrating their linguistic prowess, the students delivered speeches and self-composed poems in both English and Hindi, paying tribute to the historical significance of Sardar Patel's role in India's freedom struggle. A poignant skit was performed, underscoring the vital importance of unity in fostering a harmonious and inclusive society.
On the occasion, a special State Attire Competition was organised for the students of the Primary section std 3 to 5 where they came together to honour the cultural heritage of our nation by representing the different states with their costumes and dialects.
Dr. Karuna Prasad, the esteemed Principal of the school, lauded the exceptional efforts of the students in their presentation, emphasizing the relevance of Sardar Patel's principles in the contemporary context.
