Rajesh Kumar Singh is a multifaceted businessman from Uttar Pradesh who has divulged into a wide range of business activities including education, film production, real estate and hospitality sector. He is the Founder and MD of Dayal Group and a philanthropist who believes in giving back to society.
Born in 1968 in Varanasi and raised in Lucknow, Rajesh ventured into the business world in 1997 and pioneered Dayal Group Of Companies. He has also experimented in the entertainment industry and produced the film Fareb in 2005, followed by Anwar in 2007.
The first one was an out-and-out commercial movie while the latter is a critically acclaimed intense movie.
Rajesh has branched out the business in the hospitality sector as well. "Dayal Paradise' a state-of-the-art 4-star hotel, is the result of his innovative business strategies and artistic blend of mindset. Unfortunately, he lost his young-aged son in a mishap. This incident has changed his perception of life and brought him closer to humanity.
He opened Kunwar Global School, Kunwar Lives, and Kunwar Educational Foundation in Lucknow in memory of his deceased son Kunwar. He even waived off 25% of the school fee, considering parents' difficult situation during the pandemic.
His contribution to the business and his humanitarian efforts haven't gone unnoticed. He was felicitated with Uttar Pradesh Ratna Award twice by UP CM Yogi Aditya Nath for his contribution to education. He has also received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from Lucknow University in 2018, and it was presented to him by Governor Ram Naik. Singh has also been honoured with the Mahatma Gandhi Award in the House of Commons in London, UK. He is the recipient of the World Icon Award from the Prime Minister of Thailand.
