The Unlikely Journey of a Birth

Krishna - Teacher, Guide and the one most revered as God in our tradition did not arrive into the world the way we might expect greatness to begin. Consider the strangeness of the story before we even reach the Gita's teachings. A child born in a prison cell, in the dead of night, to parents who could not keep him, facing the possibility of death the moment he was born. Carried across a flooding river in secrecy, raised far from where he began, in a home that was never meant to be his. For people like us, such a start would raise doubts, not hope. We understand its greatness only later, when extraordinary work begins with something even less than ordinary circumstances. And yet, from that uncertain, displaced start came the Teacher who gave Humanity one of its most complete philosophies of living - The Bhagavad Gita, a life manual still read and leaned on, thousands of years later, on battlefields far removed from Kurukshetra.

Perhaps that is the real miracle of Janmashtami - greatness arriving not through comfort, but through displacement and uncertainty. If your own beginning felt uncertain or far from where you imagined that is never a proof that greatness isn't still possible. Sometimes, it's the very journey it takes.
