Xavier Institute of Polytechnic and Technology (XIPT), a premier educational institution located in Namkom, Ranchi, is committed to providing high-quality education and fostering innovation in engineering and technology. It hosted an Institutional Ceremony on Wednesday to formally introduce its new Coordinator, Dr Ashok Sandil, and Principal, Lochan Khalko. The event took place on the campus, marking a significant milestone for the institution which was attended by the management, faculty, staff, and students of XIPT.
The ceremony began with the dignitaries lighting the ceremonial lamp, followed by a traditional prayer dance. The event was graced by Dr Joseph Marianus Kujur, Secretary, XIPT, who in his message said, “As we step into 2025, let us take XIPT to yet another level. The Xavier Brand, a brand known for its integrity, excellence, and social responsibility, is also known to prepare students for the future, not just academically but also professionally. XIPT graduates are highly employable and well-equipped for the workforce as per industry standards. The dynamic infrastructure at XIPT is prepared to meet the needs of the future. Modern facilities and state-of-the-art technologies are essential for our students to thrive.”
Lastly, Dr Kujur focused on the institution’s network and stated that XIPT has the potential to create an impactful presence not just regionally, but nationally and internationally as well. He also discussed the call for increased collaboration with other educational institutions, industries, and organizations to build an educational ecosystem that offers students a well-rounded, global perspective.
The event, held in the auditorium, saw Dr Ashok Sandil and Lochan Khalko deliver their addresses, sharing their vision for the future of the institution. Following the speeches, new faculty members were introduced by Brother Anil Nag SJ. Dr Kujur also felicitated all Heads of Departments during the ceremony. Students from the Departments of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Electronics & Communication Engineering attended the ceremony in full participation.
