State to witness foggy mornings, cloudy skies for two days

According to the latest weather forecast issued by the Meteorological Center Ranchi, the morning of January 5 and January 6 will begin with light to moderate fog or mist in most districts of the state. After the fog clears, the sky is likely to remain partially cloudy.

Due to the effect of cold winds blowing from the north-east, cold wave like conditions was seen in Jharkhand on Saturday. Khunti was the coldest district with 5.3℃, the highest temperature was 26.5 degree Celsius in Bano of Simdega. The minimum temperature in most districts has gone below 10 degree Celsius.

From January 7 to January 9, the sky will remain clear after light fog or mist in the morning. On January 4, the temperature in the capital Ranchi and surrounding areas is likely to remain between 11℃ to 24℃ and on January 5, the temperature is likely to remain between 13℃ to 25℃. Due to partly cloudy sky, there will be a slight increase in minimum temperature in other districts also. Ranchi has a minimum temperature of 8 degrees Celsius and maximum temperature of 22.9 degrees Celsius, Jamshedpur has a minimum temperature of 9.8 degrees Celsius and maximum temperature of 24.2 degrees Celsius, 

 

in other districts like Daltonganj has a minimum temperature of 7.4 degrees Celsius and maximum temperature of 21.4 degrees Celsius, Bokaro has a minimum temperature of 8.1 degrees Celsius and maximum temperature of 22 degrees Celsius, Deoghar has a minimum temperature of 6.7 degrees Celsius and maximum temperature of 22.5 degrees Celsius, Dhanbad has a minimum temperature of 6.2 degrees Celsius and maximum temperature of 20.6 degrees Celsius, Garhwa has a minimum temperature of 6.9 degrees Celsius and maximum temperature of 21.9 degrees Celsius, Godda has a minimum temperature of 11.6 degrees Celsius and maximum temperature of 22.2 degrees Celsius, Hazaribagh has a minimum temperature of 6.9 degrees Celsius and maximum temperature of 19.9 degrees Celsius.

 

Apart from these the temperatures of Jamtara has a minimum temperature of 7.8 degrees Celsius and maximum temperature of 22.6 degrees Celsius, Khunti has a maximum temperature of 5.3 degrees Celsius and maximum temperature of 26.2 degrees Celsius, Latehar's minimum temperature was 9.6 degree Celsius and maximum temperature was 20.2 degree Celsius, Lohardaga's minimum temperature was 6.4 degree Celsius and maximum temperature was 23.1 degree Celsius, Pakur's minimum temperature was 8.6 degree Celsius and maximum temperature was 23.5 degree Celsius, Palamu's minimum temperature was 7.4 degree Celsius and maximum temperature was 20.9 degree Celsius. 

 

Ramgarh's minimum temperature was 7.3 degree Celsius and maximum temperature was 23.5 degree Celsius, Saraikela's minimum temperature was 7.7 degree Celsius and maximum temperature was 25.6 degree Celsius, Simdega's minimum temperature was 6.3 degree Celsius and maximum temperature was 26.5 degree Celsius and finally West Singhbhum's minimum temperature was 8 degree Celsius and maximum temperature was 25.3 degree Celsius.
