Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, the President of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee and MP from Ludhiana, attended the inauguration ceremony of Indira Bhawan, the newly constructed headquarters of the Indian National Congress, in New Delhi on Wednesday.

Speaking at the occasion, Warring said, “Indira Bhawan is more than a building; it is a symbol of our party’s unwavering dedication to democracy, equality, and justice. It represents the sacrifices and vision of our leaders who steered India through its Freedom Struggle and laid the foundation of a progressive and inclusive nation. Today, as we inaugurate this iconic structure, we recommit ourselves to these ideals.”  He further added, “The Congress Party has stood with Punjab through thick and thin, whether it has been during the ongoing farmers protests, the waiver of loans of Punjab’s farmers, Congress has and will always work for the benefit of the state of Punjab.”

Warring was joined by prominent Punjab Congress leaders, including Leader of Opposition, Partap Singh Bajwa, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Dr. Amar Singh, and Sukhpal Singh Danny Bandala, who together represented the spirit and aspirations of Punjab.

Following the inauguration, Warring, along with other senior Punjab Congress leaders, participated in a session in Delhi. Joining him were LOP Vidhan Sabha Partap Singh Bajwa, MP Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, and MP Dr. Amar Singh. During the meeting, the leaders deliberated on pressing issues, including farmers' demand for MSP, the deteriorating law and order situation in Punjab, and the hardships faced by common people under the current government. Warring said, “This moment is a proud one for every Congress worker. The spirit of Indira Bhawan inspires us to continue our fight against divisive forces and build an India that stands united in its diversity. Together, Punjabis and the Indian National Congress remain steadfast in working for the betterment of Punjab and India.
