BJP state president and former chief minister Babulal Marandi today took a dig at the state government raising questions on the state's economy.
Marandi through his social media platform X stated that that information is coming that petrol pumps are not supplying petrol and diesel to police vehicles in Jharkhand headquarters capital Ranchi due to non-payment of dues.
He said that such a bad economic situation has never been seen in the 25-year history of Jharkhand.
The way incidents of murder, robbery, rape, theft, dacoity are happening in the state, obstructing police patrolling is like pushing the state into the mouth of crime.
He said that it seems that the Hemant government has diverted the budget of all departments to pat itself on the back in a Maiya Samman Yojana.
He said that in the name of Maiya Samman, the government is moving towards weakening the security of sisters and daughters which is already weak.
He said that the way new deeds are being exposed every day and the leaders of the Indy alliance are reneging on their promises, it is completely exposing the state's devastated economy.
He said that in the coming days, there is a growing apprehension that states like Himachal, Jharkhand state government employees may also face problems in getting their salaries.
Targeting the state government's failure to meet poll promises, Marandi today again targeted the state government. Posting through social media, Marandi wrote that if the promises made during the elections remain only a means to gain power, then it is not only an insult to the mandate but also a betrayal of the trust of the public.
He said that when the INDI alliance had promised to provide gas cylinders at Rs 450 and paddy procurement at Rs 3200 per quintal, then the public saw it as a hope for their future.
He said that now when the Hemant government is being demanded to fulfill these promises, then all the ministers from the Chief Minister to the Chief Minister are busy making excuses. He said that the attitude of the Hemant government is not only an insult to the mandate but is also making the newly elected MLAs a laughing stock.
Marandi said that the public has understood that like the promise of 5 lakh jobs per year, the promise of gas cylinders for Rs 450 was also a gimmick to gain power. He said that in the coming days, the lies of this thug alliance government will be exposed layer by layer.
