The Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company (M.P. Transco) will organize free health checkup camps for all the permanent, contract, and outsourced personnel engaged in transmission line maintenance work across the state. Additionally, workshops on life-saving techniques will be conducted in all transmission line maintenance sub-divisions. These instructions were given by the Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company during the inaugural session of a two-day workshop for transmission line maintenance personnel held in Jabalpur. He emphasized that all employees, including outsourced workers, should be given special attention and provided with all necessary facilities to ensure their welfare.
He also directed strict adherence to the ban on mobile phone usage by maintenance personnel during work to prevent accidents. As part of the company’s social responsibility, he suggested measures to curb drinking habits among employees.
