All SPs will review all such cases that have happened in their district in the past and will also ensure that whatever information is given by the victim regarding threats by Maoists / Splinter Groups / criminal groups. FIR should be registered in it.

All SPs, especially in Naxal-affected districts, will specially review the registered cases related to arson/sabotage by Maoists/Splinter Groups/criminal groups and ensure desired action as soon as possible. The concerned Regional IGs/Regional DIGs will ensure compliance of this under their supervision.

Effective attachment and confiscation action should be taken against all the accused of Maoists/Splinter Groups/criminal groups who are absconding in various cases.

All SPs will ensure desired action by identifying the properties acquired through crime and updating its documentation.

All SPs will ensure to make their subordinate officers and personnel aware on the basis of "know your enemy/ know your friend" by creating a profile of each member of Naxal/ Splinter Groups/ criminal gang so that the police officers and personnel posted/ deputed in the police station/ police picket established in the districts are able to know well which Naxal/ Splinter Groups/ criminal gangs are active in their area, so that desired action can be taken against them. For the arrest of absconding Naxalites, they will ensure to submit proposals for reward against them through proper means.

To make the campaign being run against Naxalites and the surrender policy more effective, positive efforts should be made to bring more and more people into the mainstream by widely publicizing it.
