CS reviews departmental target achievement for FY 2024-25

Chief Secretary Anurag Jain conducted a comprehensive review of all departments at the Ministry on Wednesday, assessing the progress of departmental plans for the financial year 2024-25 and determining targets for the financial year 2025-26.

Chief Secretary Jain obtained an update on the status of departmental target achievements for FY 2024-25. He directed that the necessary implementation measures for achieving the set targets for FY 2025-26 be ensured on time.

During the meeting, he conducted a detailed review of departmental work plans under Vision@2047. There was also an extensive discussion on the implementation of the government's ambitious "Garib, Annadata, Yuva & Nari" mission. Furthermore, Chief Secretary Jain reviewed the progress of commitments made in the Sankalp Patra (Resolution Document), ensuring adherence to all relevant departmental objectives. He emphasized that the priority projects of Chief Minister Yadav should be executed within the stipulated time frame.

Reviewing the progress of flagship schemes sponsored by the Central Government, he also assessed the status of utilization certificates and fund demands to be submitted to the central government.

Several key issues, including public grievance redressal, interdepartmental matters, and legislative concerns, were discussed in detail. Chief Secretary Jain examined pending CS Monitor cases, semi-official letters received from the Government of India, paper cuttings, CM Helpline cases, e-Office, CPGRAMS, Assembly Questions & Assurances, and CAG reports. He provided the necessary directives for addressing these matters effectively.

Additionally, he reviewed the status of meetings of interdepartmental committees formed under his chairmanship and issued instructions for necessary follow-ups.

The meeting also included a detailed discussion on human resource-related matters, including recruitment, training (Mission Karmayogi), and the resolution of legal cases. Chief Secretary Jain stressed the importance of continuous implementation and regular reviews to ensure the timely achievement of the FY 2025-26 targets. The meeting was attended by all Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries, and Heads of Departments.
