Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has instructed all the MLAs to prepare a vision document (roadmap) to develop their respective areas. He said that all the MLAs should hold Jan-Samvads with the regional officers regarding the redressal of public grievances. The results of the Jan-Kalyan Abhiyan must be assessed and ensure that no eligible person is deprived of the benefits of government schemes. For this, it is necessary to go among the people, communicate with them, know their problems and take immediate steps to solve them. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the review meeting of the ongoing development activities and major construction works in the Indore division on Thursday.
Tribal Affairs, Public Asset Management and Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Dr. Kunwar Vijay Shah, Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silawat, Scheduled Caste Welfare Minister Nagar Singh Chauhan, Indore MP Shankar Lalwani and other regional MLAs and public representatives participated virtually in the meeting from their respective areas. In the meeting held at the Chief Minister’s residence, Chief Secretary Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Office . Rajesh Rajoura, Additional Chief Secretary SN Mishra, Additional Chief Secretary Ashok Barnwal, Additional Chief Secretary Anupam Rajan, Principal Secretary Deepali Rastogi, Principal Secretary Sanjay Shukla, Principal Secretary Rashmi Arun Shami and other senior officers were present.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav instructed the ministers, MPs, MLAs and other public representatives present in the meeting that they should visit the field as much as possible to get feedback on the government schemes. Public representatives should spend the night in remote villages (especially tribal villages) along with regional officials. Talk to the villagers there and solve their problems. Given the increasing cold day by day, the Chief Minister directed the collector and district officials to conduct surprise inspections of night shelters. Provide blankets and warm clothes to the needy. No one should face any difficulty due to cold.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that if the MLAs want, they can also do some innovation for the development of the area. Implement innovative activities which will give maximum benefit to the public. He said that now the Additional Chief Secretary in charge of all the divisions will hold district-wise review meetings. This will provide all the MLAs ample opportunity to put forward the major demands and sensitive issues of their respective areas. He said that all the collectors should now hold assembly-wise review meetings. Discuss with all the MLAs of the district and also cooperate in making the vision document of their assembly constituency.
Yadav, while reviewing the construction of CM Rise Schools, said that whatever construction work is still pending in previously approved CM Rise Schools should be completed first on priority. Subsequently, a proposal should be taken for the construction of new CM Rise Schools.
Information was given about the Tapti-Chhillur mega irrigation project of Khandwa district in the review of the Water Resources Department. On this, MLA from Harsud of Khandwa district and Tribal Affairs Minister Dr. Kunwar Vijay Shah urged the Chief Minister to approve this project as soon as possible. The Chief Minister assured him that work on this will be started as soon as possible. If necessary, he will also discuss with the Maharashtra government regarding the project.
