Notably, the Yuva Panel was fielded by the outgoing executive of the organisation.

Earlier in the day, voting was conducted for the positions of President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer, and 12 executive members at Gopal Dharamshala in Chowk Bazaar.

A total of 231 traders from the Sarafa Bazaar in the old city were eligible to vote in the elections. Of these, 222 cast their votes. Each voter cast 16 votes, which included selecting five office-bearers and 11 executive members. The association is one of the oldest and most prestigious trade organisations in the city.
