The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has decided to hold an educational facility survey of Jharkhand colleges and universities of Jharkhand.The organisation has demanded for a separate budget allocation for Higher education in the state.

Talking to media zonal secretary of (ABVP) Bihar - Jharkhand Yagyawalkya Shukla told this here at Dhanbad on Tuesday.

Giving details Shukla said that the survey would include details of student- teachers ratio at each college of Jharkhand besides the university.In addition infrastructure facilities including students facilities, fee, hostel facilities, teachers and non teaching staff strength at college and universities, placement facilities, lab and library facilities, playground , canteen facility besides creativity centre and placement facilities besides others .Each college and university would have a separate report and this would be made public in April 2025. A copy would also be handed over to the state government for ensuring proper facilities for better facilities to Jharkhand students at Higher Education level.

Shukla said, our demand includes a separate budget for higher education so that educational standards of Jharkhand universities be brought up to national level and Jharkhand students get quality higher education within the state.

Hello said prior to this survey the organisation is all set to organise programmes from Yuva diwas that falls on January 12 on birthday of Swami Vivekanand till Parakram Diwas that is birthday of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in all colleges and universities.

Following this the organisation would hold Nagar sports Kumbh in each district headquarter of Jharkhand . During this sports event traditional sports including traditional Indian sports like kho kho , kabaddi football , as well as badminton and others would be organised by ABVP .This is aimed to provide a platform to students at state level in traditional sports .

Senior leaders of the organisation including Mukesh Pandey besides others were also present.
