Shahjehanabad police have nabbed a drug peddler who was trying to sell Hashish was arrested. Total 200 grams of contraband worth Rs 2,000,00 was recovered from the accused.
Police said that taking action on a tip off the accused Devendra Sen(19) Ratna Colony, Nishatpura was nabbed and hashish was found in his possession in a plastic foil. When frisking properly a sharp knife was recovered from the waist of the accused.
On weighing the hashish found in the possession of the accused the weight of the hashish was found to be 200 grams.
The accused was arrested from the spot and a case was registered against the accused in Shahjahanabad police station, Bhopal under section 8 and 20 NDPS Act 25 Arms Act and investigation was started. Detailed inquiry is being conducted with the accused regarding the hashish and knife found in his possession.
