Angry over father's scolding a 17-year-old boy committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at Vajpayee Nagar Idgah Hills in the night on Wednesday.
In the night on Wednesday the 17-year-old minor reached home at around 2 am. After which his father also scolded him, then the boy went to another room and committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling.
The police were informed about this at around 2.30 am, the police registered a case and got the postmortem of the body done at Hamidia Hospital. According to the police, the matter is being investigated, while statements of the concerned are also being taken.
According to ASI Anant Kumar Pandey, a teenager (17) living in Vajpayee Nagar Idgah Hills area reached home at around 2 am, after which his father scolded him, asked where he was coming from, while other family members also questioned him about this, due to which he got very angry and went to another room and locked himself.
