Unidentified miscreants kidnapped a youth from Baghsewania area and kept the young man hostage for about an hour demanding Rs 50000, no dispute between the victim and miscreants have been found. 

As soon as the information of kidnapping was received, the police cordoned off the area and when the miscreants got the information, they left the young man at Arera Hills near Bhopal Court and escaped. The police have registered an FIR and started searching for the accused.

According to SHO Amit Soni, Darshan Singh Rajput was passing in front of Krishna Arcade on Monday evening at around 5:30 pm on a bike with his friend Hariom Rajput.

The accused Babu Bengali, Raja Khan, Ajay and Rohit came in a car and stopped their car in front of the bike. After this, the miscreants got down waving a pistol and sharp edged weapons in their hands and forcibly made Hariom Rajupat sit in their car and took him away and assaulted him.

After this, the victim Darshan Singh Rajput informed the police about his friend's kidnapping. Meanwhile, the police came to know that the accused had left the youth in front of the district court, about five kilometers away from the incident spot, and fled. Later, the youth somehow reached the police station and told the entire incident to the police.

The police said that the complainant works in a water supply company. In his statement to the police, he said that the accused had a dispute with one of his friends, and he used to live with them. He was kidnapped due to this dispute.

During the assault, the accused also demanded Rs 50000 from him. All the accused have a criminal record in the past as well. They are residents of Katara Hills, and a team has been deployed to search for them.
