BJP's high-energy election campaign in Kolhan is set to gain momentum as Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visits Jamshedpur on Tuesday. The firebrand leader will address a major rally at Sakchi’s Aambagan Ground, where he is expected to energize the party’s base and galvanize support across the four key assembly constituencies of East, West, Potka, and Jugsalai.
BJP District President Sudhanshu Ojha, who reviewed the extensive preparations, expressed confidence in a historic turnout, describing the rally as an “unprecedented event” for the steel city. In a press conference at the BJP district office on Monday, Ojha shared details of the event logistics and preparations, noting that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to arrive at 1 p.m. on Tuesday. Thousands are expected to gather to hear the Chief Minister’s address, alongside Jharkhand BJP state in-charge Laxmikant Vajpayee, Rajya Sabha MP, and other NDA candidates for the upcoming elections.
According to Ojha, BJP is mobilizing its full machinery to ensure the rally’s success. The party has held meetings at both divisional and booth levels to strategize and encourage local support. Additionally, responsibilities have been delegated among district officials and senior party members to handle venue arrangements, manage the stage, oversee media and water provisions, and organize parking.
Social media efforts are also in high gear, with BJP’s digital team actively promoting the event across platforms. Plans are in place to live-stream the rally, allowing those unable to attend to tune in online.
On Sunday, Ojha and a team of district officials, including former District President Devendra Singh and former State Spokesperson Rajesh Shukla, visited Aambagan to inspect arrangements. Key preparations, including tent setups, seating arrangements, and safety measures, are being meticulously managed. Addressing the media, Ojha stated, “This rally, led by CM Yogi Adityanath, will set a new standard in Jamshedpur’s political landscape. We are committed to making it an extraordinary success.”
Yogi Adityanath’s rally in Jamshedpur is expected to bolster BJP’s electoral momentum in the region, with party workers and supporters enthusiastically anticipating his address as a pivotal moment in the campaign.
