Chief Minister Mohan Yadav exended his best wishes and congratulated the Hindustani Classical Band artists for the record ensemble musical instrument presentation registered in the Guinness Book of World Records at the inauguration of the Tansen Sangeet Samaroha 2024.

He said that this achievement of the Tansen Sangeet Samaroha  and the world record is a medium to revive the long ancient heritage of music present in Indian culture including Sangeet Samrat Tansen, Maharani Lakshmi Bai, Mahadji Scindia, Late Rajmata Scindia and Jain Tirthankara. Notably, a world record of Hindustani classical music was created by the captivating presentation of 8 musical instruments by 546 artists. Yadav was addressing the audience after inaugurating the Tansen Sangeet Samaroha  2024 and the ensemble performance in Gwalior.

Yadav has said that Gwalior was Sadhana Sthal of Sangeet Samrat Tansen and the origin of Khayal singing. From Raja Mansingh Tomar to the Scindia family, every possible effort has been made to preserve the legacy of music. On the occasion of the 100th celebration of Tansen, Yadav greeted the artists for the performance given by the classical band on 8 classical instruments namely violin, harmonium, sarangi, flute, sarod, santoor, shehnai, pakhavaj and tabla.

No musical instrument in the world can be out of Indian classical composition

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that music is present in every pore of this animate and inanimate world. Maharishi Patanjali has mentioned 5 main Pranas, 5 supporting Pranas as well as sub-pranas. In this, one sub-Prana is sensation, which connects us with music. Music experience and liveliness is identified from every pore. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while referring to the colossal form shown by Lord Krishna to the Dhanudhari Veer Arjun, said that the consciousness of life comes through every pore. The practice of classical music thrills every pore of a person. In Indian culture, the tradition of creating harmony with nature on the basis of classical instruments was started. No musical instrument in the world can be out of classical composition; this is the specialty of Indian classical music. Indian music tradition enables us to move forward on the journey of happiness by harmonizing with everyone.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the identity of all our gods and goddesses is associated with some musical instrument. The source of inspiration for the world's first musical instrument is a raindrop. The sound of the first drop of water falling in a pond or river connects with the sound of Damru. As a result, Damru is the world's first musical instrument associated with Lord Shiva. The Bansuri is the source of joy for Lord Krishna.

Yadav inaugurated the Tansen Sangeet Samaroha by lighting the lamp. On this occasion, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar, Water Resources Minister and Gwalior in-charge Tulsiram Silawat, New and Renewable Energy Minister Rakesh Shukla, Minister of State for Culture and Tourism (Independent Charge) Dharmendra Singh Lodhi, MP Bharat Singh Kushwaha, Principal Secretary Culture and Tourism Sheoshekhar Shukla and a large number of music lovers were present.
