The Uttar Pradesh government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is committed to making Mahakumbh 2025 a global symbol of India’s cultural unity.

As part of this vision, a grand roadshow was organized in Madhya Pradesh, led by Cabinet Minister for Jal Shakti and Flood Control, Shri Swatantra Dev Singh, and Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Horticulture, Agricultural Marketing, Agricultural Foreign Trade, and Agricultural Exports, Shri Dinesh Pratap Singh.

During the event, the ministers highlighted the Mahakumbh as a unique celebration of unity within India’s diversity and extended an invitation to the Governor of Madhya Pradesh, Mangubhai  Patel, Chief Minister Mohan, and the people of Madhya Pradesh to participate in Prayagraj Mahakumbh-2025.

The Uttar Pradesh government aims to make the Mahakumbh a historic event with international participation and state-of-the-art facilities. Addressing the media, the Minister of Electronics and Information Technology emphasized that the event would embody the spirit of India’s cultural and spiritual consciousness, symbolizing "Ek Bharat, Shreshth Bharat, Samaveshi Bharat" (One India, Great India, Inclusive India).

He added that significant efforts were being made to ensure the Mahakumbh becomes a global event of unparalleled magnitude.

Recalling the success of the Prayagraj Kumbh in 2019, Cabinet Minister Swatantra Dev Singh highlighted the efficient management and global recognition the event received. He assured that Mahakumbh 2025 would surpass the previous event in grandeur and spiritual essence.

With preparations in full swing, the Uttar Pradesh government is making meticulous arrangements to accommodate an estimated 450 million pilgrims, saints, ascetics, and tourists.

The Mahakumbh will be held from January 13 to February 26, 2025, on the sacred banks of the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers in Prayagraj.

Recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, the Mahakumbh, held every 12 years, is a divine occasion that resonates with India's cultural and spiritual heritage. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Mahakumbh 2025 is set to reaffirm India’s cultural pride on a global stage.
