Shyam Mandir resonates with devotion during ekadashi kirtan

Monday, 30 December 2024 | PNS | Jamshedpur

The seventh Ekadashi monthly kirtan at Shri Shyam Mandir, Sakchi, left devotees spiritually uplifted and emotionally connected. Organized by Shri Shyam Family Sakchi in collaboration with Shri Shiva Mandir, the event brought together scores of devotees for an evening of prayer, bhajans, and divine celebration.

The evening began at 7 PM with the temple priest performing a ceremonial puja of Baba Shyam Ji, followed by the lighting of Baba’s flame. This sacred moment set the tone for a soulful evening.

City bhajan singer Pankaj Agarwal opened the kirtan with melodious renditions of "Gauri Nandan Tharo Abhinandan..." and "Hanuman Viraje Re in Salasar Mandir," invoking a wave of devotion among attendees. His powerful voice and evocative lyrics created an atmosphere of divine energy and unity.

Chanchal Kashvi, another renowned bhajan singer, captivated the audience with her performance. Her heartfelt renditions, including her signature piece where she metaphorically "shot three arrows," stirred deep emotions and brought many devotees to tears of devotion.

The event reflected a collective expression of faith, where the lyrics of bhajans like "Kya zara sa main tera naam liya..." resonated with attendees, emphasizing the transformative power of devotion. One devotee, Shyam Premi, shared his sentiments.

The kirtan concluded with the distribution of prasad, leaving everyone spiritually fulfilled and eagerly awaiting the next Ekadashi celebration. Events like these continue to strengthen the cultural and spiritual fabric of Jamshedpur, bringing the community closer together under Baba Shyam's divine blessings.
