Bokaro Steel Limited (BSL) commissioned 5 tippers, 3 loaders, and 2 diesel tankers at its Operation Garage (O.G.) and Centralized Breakdown Repair Shop (CBRS) in the presence of Director In-Charge, Birendra Kumar Tiwari. The commissioning ceremony was held today, marking a new phase of enhanced operational capacity at the plant.
Also present at the event were Executive Director (Projects & Additional Charge Materials Management), Chittaranjan Mahapatra, Executive Director (Finance & Accounts), Suresh Rangani, Executive Director (HR & Additional Charge Operations), Rajan Prasad, along with senior general managers, officers, and employees of the O.G. and CBRS departments.
The new machinery was procured through IPU (Integrated Procurement Unit), with Assistant General Manager (O.G. and CBRS), N.K. Singh, providing detailed information on the specifications and features of the equipment. These machines will be utilized across the plant for various construction activities, shutdown operations, routine repairs, maintenance, and housekeeping tasks.
The commissioning of these machines represents a significant upgrade in the plant's operational efficiency, ensuring smoother and more efficient handling of critical tasks.
