Cold wave continues in Jharkhand. The Meteorological Department informed that due to the formation of a low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal, there is a possibility of partly cloudy weather and light rain at some places in the southern parts of the State on Friday.
Under this, there is a possibility of rain in West Singhbhum, East Singhbhum, Simdega, Saraikela Kharsawan.
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert and said that after the rain, the State will be in the grip of dense fog. "There is a possibility of dense fog at some places in the north-western and central parts of the State on Saturday morning. During this time, there is a possibility of fog in Ranchi including Gumla, Palamu, Chatra, Hazaribagh, Latehar, Lohardaga, Garhwa, Palamu and Ramgarh," the department said.
The department has also said that on December 22, there is a possibility of fog in the morning in the north-eastern, central and southern parts of the State. During this time, there is a possibility of fog in Gumla, Ranchi, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Deoghar, Jamtara, Dumka, Sahibganj, Pakur, West Singhbhum, East Singhbhum, Simdega and Saraikela Kharsawan, the department added.
During this time, it has been said to drive carefully in the morning. Along with this, the department has asked people to take special care of children and the elderly.
