Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that the world’s first Nadi Jodo project is set to take shape under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He described it as a monumental gift to the nation, with Madhya Pradesh, particularly the Gwalior region, standing to benefit significantly. Not one, but two major projects, the Ken-Betwa Link Project, with an estimated budget of ?1 lakh crore, and the Parvati-Kali-Sindh-Chambal Link Project, are being implemented. Shivpuri will be the only district to benefit from both ambitious initiatives, marking a major milestone in the state's development.
The Chief Minister expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Modi, noting that these projects will pave the way for a new era of progress, benefiting 8.5 lakh residents of the Bundelkhand region and setting Madhya Pradesh on course to become an ideal state for future generations.Addressing students at the Yuva Samvad program at Jiwaji University’s Atal Bihari Vajpayee International Convention Center in Gwalior, Dr. Yadav spoke about the transformative impact of the new education policy. He remarked that while the education system introduced by Lord Macaulay hindered holistic mental development, the new policy fosters curiosity and offers opportunities for the comprehensive personality development of students. The Yuva Samvad initiative aims to nurture curiosity and provide students with the latest knowledge across various fields.
During the session, Dr. Yadav resolved numerous student queries and engaged in discussions on a range of topics, emphasizing the importance of education in shaping a progressive Madhya Pradesh.
Yadav said that a unique museum of the world of science has been inaugurated, making this day a special one for Gwalior. Ujjain, the second capital of Scindia state, has been the centre of time calculation. In the world, time calculation has been linked to the Sun or Moon. Where as in India, the basis of time calculation has been the Nakshatras. This is the most subtle and most accurate calculation of time. On the basis of this tradition, the Panchang provides us with clear information about solar eclipse, lunar eclipse and other astronomical events. This method of Sanatan culture has helped the people of the country understand the calculation of time easily.
Yadav interacted with students on geological activities, astronomy, the origin of the Earth, and human life. During the interaction, he resolved the queries of students regarding the mutual relation between the moon and earth, the importance of planets and their impact on human life, the principle of the clock, and the traditions of the Sant Samaj.
Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has said that youth is not only the future of the state and the country but also the future of the world. He said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is not only communicating with the youth but is also building every region of the state. He has the zeal and passion to make Madhya Pradesh a leader. He has initiated several schemes to encourage the youth, conclaves for industrial development, and stipends for entrepreneurship. This young generation will be the glory, future, and architect of Madhya Pradesh. Under the leadership of the Chief Minister, the youth of Madhya Pradesh will play their best role in building the country, state, and the world.
Vidhan Sabha Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar said that Chief Minister Yadav has come to Gwalior today to interact with the youth, I welcome and congratulate him wholeheartedly. He said that we all know that be it any institution, area, state, or country, its future lies in its children. When we complete 100 years of independence and the whole world sees today’s Vikasit Bharat, today’s generation will be a witness to this growth. Remembering Maharani Laxmibai, Sardar Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru, the Speaker said that most of our great warriors in the freedom struggle were also young, and sacrificed their lives for India’s freedom.
