The Uttar Pradesh government, on Friday, gave fresh assignments to four IPS officers, including those who returned from central deputation.
Ram Nayan Singh, who was posted in the security of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and was promoted from PPS to IPS cadre, was posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police in Lucknow police commissionerate. IPS officer Keshav Kumar was also transferred as Deputy Commissioner of Police in Lucknow commissionerate police.
Apart from this, IPS officer Mahendra Pal Singh, who was posted in Lucknow police commissionerate, was transferred as Superintendent of Police (Crime) in DGP Headquarters and IPS officer Shivaji was transferred as Superintendent of Police, Technical Services.
All four IPS have been instructed to take charge of the new posting immediately.
