Director (Technical, Projects & Raw Materials) AK Singh, released a book titled “List of acceptable makes” at SAIL, MTI, Ranchi today. The occasion was graced by Anirban Dasgupta, Director Incharge (Bhilai Steel Plant), Atanu Bhowmik, Director Incharge (Rourkela & Bokaro Steel Plant), BP Singh, Director Incharge (Burnpur & Durgapur Steel Plant)), KK Singh,Director (Personnel), SK Verma, Executive Director (CET) and other senior officials of SAIL. This was unveiled by during the ongoing Annual Business Plan meeting being held at MTI, SAIL
This book has been prepared by Centre for Engineering & Technology (CET), a Unit of Steel Authority of India Ltd. The purpose of “List of Acceptable Makes” is to mitigate the difficulties faced related to making of equipment and supplies during project execution in SAIL Steel Plants. The list is regularly updated considering present market scenarios and it takes care of mergers & acquisitions of different companies.
