Depressed over molestation by youth a 14-year-old girl committed suicide by consuming poisnuous substance at Eintkhedi, before death she revealed molestation by the accused  to her mother.

The girl died while undergoing treatment at Hamidia Hospital on Saturday night.

The father said that a youth from the village had misbehaved with the daughter. Before committing suicide, the daughter had informed the mother about the entire matter.

The girl consumed poison before the mother could tell anyone anything. Meanwhile, the police have registered a case and started an investigation in the matter.

After the postmortem on Sunday afternoon, the body has been handed over to the family. The police said that further action will be taken after taking the statement.

Victim's father said that on Friday morning,she went to the toilet near the house at 7.45 in the morning and while she was returning  a youth from the village caught her and molested her.

After returning home, the daughter told her mother the entire incident. Before the mother could tell anyone, the daughter drank the pesticide kept in the house. Due to this, she started vomiting. She was immediately taken to the hospital. From where she was asked to go to Hamidia. She died late Saturday night during treatment at Hamidia Hospital.

The minor's father said that he did not know why the daughter consumed poisonous substances but when they raised the alarm and hearing the screams, the father and mother of the accused also rushed to help and accompanied the family and victim to the hospital.

After getting the girl admitted to Hamidia, we returned. On Saturday, the mother of accused informed that your daughter consumed the pesticide because of her son. He used to harass her. On Friday also, she was very sad after the molestation, that is why she took such a step.

ASI Sher Singh, who is investigating the case, said that the father has told about Kunal, a youth from the same village, molesting his daughter. However, the father also said that his wife had told him this. The statement of the minor's mother has not been recorded yet. Further action will be taken after her statement. No suicide note has been found in the investigation.
