The meeting of the District Level Consultative Committee (DLCC) was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Waghmare Prasad Krishna in the Collectorate Hall on Monday. The performance of all the banks of the district was discussed in detail in the meeting. During the review, the current work of all the banks was reviewed. The DC took information from the representatives of all the banks about the status of applications related to banking loans.
He directed that positive efforts should be made to approve the applications received in bank branches and the work of loan payment should be done. Check the applications properly and forward them. In the meeting, it was asked to improve fisheries, dairy and other loans. To increase the number of Kisan Credit Cards, instructions were given to open a new sector so that more and more farmers can get Kisan Credit Card.
The online statement of the Prime Minister's Employment Generation Program (PMEGP) for the financial year 2024-25 was also reviewed in detail by the Deputy Commissioner. In this, it was told by the Industries Department that the target of the district, the number of beneficiaries sanctioned online loan by the bank and the number of beneficiaries paid were informed. The Deputy Commissioner gave instructions to provide loans to the youth from time to time. The meeting was mainly attended by Deputy Development Commissioner Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat, representatives of RBI, leading bank managers and representatives of various banks.
