CM for financial assistance to injured students

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has taken cognizance of the incident in which 8 students and a cook got injured in a cylinder explosion late at night in the Scheduled Caste and Tribe Hostel located in Naigarhi of Mauganj district and has directed the concerned officials to take immediate action. All the injured have been sent to Medical College Rewa by the district administration for proper treatment.

Yadav has given instructions to provide Rs. 2 lakh to the student who was seriously injured in the accident, Rs 50,000 each to the seriously injured students, and financial assistance to other injured students as per rules. Along with this, the hostel superintendent has been suspended with immediate effect and an inquiry committee has been formed, which will submit its report in a week.

Chief Minister Yadav has also directed to ensure 100 percent compliance with safety standards in hostels of all districts of the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has prayed to Baba Mahakal for the speedy recovery of all the injured.
