After 4th phase BJP is out from Center: Jairam Ramesh

Thursday, 16 May 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

Congress National General Secretary and National Media In-Charge, Jairam Ramesh, on Wednesday, said that after the elections for 379 seats held in the Country, the INDI Alliance has achieved absolute majority. “In the remaining three phases, the alliance will only work to create an edge. Narendra Modi has now become the outgoing PM. His farewell formalities will be performed on June 4,” he added.

Addressing a press meet at Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) headquarter in the State Capital Ramesh said that the Country will get freedom from the epidemic of lies on June 4.

Many leaders including JPCC Chief, Rajesh Thakur were present on this occasion.

In response to a question, Ramesh said that Tamil Nadu is the only State in the Constitution itself where the limit of reservation is more than 50 per cent. “Reservation there is 69 per  cent. Because during the time of former PM Narasimha Rao, the reservation policy of Tamil Nadu has been included in the Ninth Schedule of the Constitution. When our Government is formed, we will work to increase it by removing this 50 per cent limit. We will work to include the reservation policies of many states including Jharkhand in the Ninth Schedule of the Constitution,” he added.

“Hemant Soren Government of the State, after passing the new reservation policy from the Jharkhand Assembly on November 11, 2022, had sent a proposal to the Raj Bhavan to include it in the Ninth Schedule of the Constitution. This includes increasing the reservation of OBC from 14 to 27, that of Scheduled Tribe from 26 to 28 and that of Scheduled Caste from 10 to 12 per cent. But the Governor returned it saying it was contrary to the Constitution. The Government has again passed it and sent it to Raj Bhavan,” said Ramesh.

The party’s Media In Charge also said that BJP has been wiped out in the entire South Whereas in North-East and West it has halved. “Earlier they were talking about Muslim League, taking out money from the house, Mangalsutra, buffalo and Congress's declaration letter. But after the end of the fourth phase, his statement is changing every day. Now he is not talking about anything beyond 400 when he realized this in the third phase. After the fourth phase he became nervous. Therefore, after the third phase, they came to religious polarization, Hindu-Muslim and Pakistan. But after the fourth phase, his statement has changed from yesterday. Now he keeps saying that I never talked about Hindu-Muslim. This shows that the duo of Modi and Shah realized that they were going to leave and the formalities of their departure would be completed after June 4,” he added.

Ramesh said that when the Prime Minister himself is saying that Adani-Ambani is sending black money to Congress through tempo, then what are their investigating agencies doing. “Why has his ED, IT and CBI investigation not been done till now? Under the Modi Government, 21 capitalists have accumulated more money than even 70 per cent of the people of the Country have. That is why we have talked about equality. There has been talk of employment and people's income. Modi tried to present it to the public in a wrong way. Modi Government waived off loans worth lakhs of crores of capitalists, but not of farmers. But every time Modi trolls Congress' talk of five justices and makes false statements, our 25 guarantees are being publicized more than that. Modi is promoting us for free. The day they speak wrong, lakhs of people download Congress's Justice Guarantee and read it,” he added.

Congress asked four questions to Modi that is Why is Modi ji silent on Mohan Bhagwat's talk on constitutional amendment, Why is Modi ji silent on caste and economic census, Why is Modi ji silent on increasing the reservation limit from 50 per cent and about the country Why did Modi ji weaken the necessary acts and laws?
