Firoz Ali, the accused of molesting girl students of Kanya Pathshala located in Kotwali police station area, was sent to jail on Monday.
Earlier on Sunday evening, on the instructions of SSP Chandan Sinha, a police team led by Kotwali DSP Prakash Soy took action and arrested Firoz Ali from Lower Bazaar area.
Firoz Ali is a resident of lane number eight of Nala Road in Hindpiri. Police had announced a reward for the person giving information about Firoz Ali. But Firoz surrendered himself.
CM Hemant Soren had taken cognizance of this molestation case. The CM had ordered Ranchi Police to take strict action against the accused and inform them. On Monday, City SP Rajkumar Mehta gave this information in a press conference.
The State Police had also announced a reward to whoever gives information to the police about Firoz Ali. Police will give a reward of Rs 10,000.
It is worth noting that for the past several days, miscreants were harassing the girls outside the Kanya Pathshala School in Ranchi. The miscreants used to take advantage of the silence in the street from seven in the morning and try to misbehave with them. Due to this fear, the girls had stopped coming to school.
The school teachers also went to the police station regarding this matter, but no action was taken. This entire incident has been captured in CCTV. The footage clearly shows how a miscreant is misbehaving with the girls.
