With the inspiration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a program against malnutrition has been started in Ranchi. Under this program, nutrition kits will be distributed among pregnant women on the initiative of MP Sanjay Seth, courtesy of GAIL India Limited. The MP held a press conference regarding this in Ranchi.

Addressing the press conference, Seth said that for a long time he was trying to ensure that nutrition kits are available to pregnant women. Great success has been achieved in this direction. Through GAIL India's CSR, more than 2500 nutrition kits will be distributed among pregnant women of Ranchi Lok Sabha constituency.

This nutritional kit includes many such ingredients including cow's ghee, dry fruits laddus, protein powder, various types of nutritious seeds, laddus made from coarse grains, which are considered important from the health point of view of pregnant women and their foetus.

Seth said that this is a kit prepared entirely on the advice of doctors. The list of its beneficiaries has been prepared. According to this list, it will be distributed in Ranchi, Hatia, Kanke, Ichagarh, Silli, Khijri assembly constituencies of Ranchi Lok Sabha constituency.

Seth said that slogans like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao of Prime Minister Narendra Modi inspire people to work in such areas. It was with his inspiration that I made this effort, which has now been successful. The MP said that the cost of one set kit is approximately Rs 2500. The MP said that in the first phase, a target has been set to give this kit to about 2500 women. It will be increased further after the elections in the second phase.

On this occasion, Ranchi MLA CP Singh, Ranchi Lok Sabha constituency in-charge Sanjeev Vijayvargiya, Ranchi Metropolitan BJP President Varun Sahu, Ranchi Rural District President Surendra Mahato, former Rajya Sabha MP Ajay Maru, former MLA Ram Kumar Pahan and many other dignitaries were present.
