A Pakistani don has issued threats to Mumbai star-turned-BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty asking him to withdraw and apologise for a statement that he made recently at a party meeting in Kolkata.
Releasing two videos and referring to a statement made by the veteran actor, Sahjad Bhatti a don based in Dubai asked Chakraborty to "apologise within 10-15 days" and warned him against entering into a battle and cause his own "embarrassment."
"You have hurt the sentiments of the Muslims by your statement ... Remember that the Muslims too have supported and respected you by watching many of your flopped films, … though at your age, people sometimes make of-the-cuff remarks only to repent subsequently," Bhatti said in his video apparently prepared from a plush apartment.
