BJP National President J P Nadda on Thursday hit back at Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge’s letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling it an effort to “polish and re-launch” their “failed product” and accused Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi of having a history of abusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi and OBCs, and of siding with anti-India forces.

Nadda also accused the grand old party of hurling abuses at PM Modi over 110 times in the past decade after Kharge asked the PM to school his party leaders regarding the use of “violent languages” against Rahul Gandhi.

In a tit for tat response Nadda wrote,

“Respected Kharge ji, due to what compulsion are you trying to justify Rahul Gandhi, a person whose history is of abusing the entire OBC community including the Prime Minister of the country by calling them thieves, and using extremely indecent words for the Prime Minister of the country?”

He further criticized Kharge for allegedly overlooking or ignoring past actions of Congress leaders, including Rahul Gandhi. “It’s unfortunate that under the influence of its ‘famous prince,’ the oldest political party in the country has now become a ‘copy-paste’ party,” Nadda’s letter stated.

“After reading that letter, I felt that the things said by you are far from reality. It seems that in the letter you have either forgotten the misdeeds of your leaders including Rahul Gandhi or have deliberately ignored them, so I felt that it is important to bring those things to your notice in detail. It is sad that the oldest political party of the country has now become a ‘copy & paste’ party under the pressure of its famous prince,” Nadda responded in the letter.

Further intensifying his attacks, the BJP chief said, “It is very sad that the oldest political party of the country has now become a ‘copy and paste’ party under the pressure of its famous ‘yuvraaj’ (prince).” Listing over a series of abuses, Nadda alleged,

“In the last 10 years, the leaders of Congress and Company have abused the country’s illustrious Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji more than 110 times and the unfortunate thing is that the top leadership of Congress is also involved in this.”

“Sometimes it was said ‘Modi will dig your grave’, sometimes it was said ‘neech’, sometimes ‘bastard’, sometimes ‘merchant of death’, sometimes ‘poisonous snake’, sometimes ‘scorpion’, sometimes ‘rat’, sometimes ‘Ravan’, Sometimes ‘Bhasmasur,” he said as he went on to mention a series of inappropriate words. He said that the Congress’ letter exposed the “double standards” of the party adding that
