As part of its ongoing 100 Days TB Campaign, aimed at screening and treating TB patients with unwavering commitment, the Delhi government’s health department has taken swift and decisive action against negligence. Acting on a complaint of a school-going girl in the North District was deprived of essential TB medicines due to the carelessness of a DOTS Plus Supervisor, the Delhi government’s health department has terminated the supervisor within 24 hours, sending a strong message that such lapses will not be tolerated. Also the girl was provided with all the prescribed medicines.

The department reiterates its dedication to ensuring the well-being of TB patients and has implemented additional measures to prevent similar incidents in the future. This proactive approach underscores its resolve to make the 100 Days TB Campaign a success and ensure 100% intolerance regarding negligence in patient care.
