Keeping in view maximum participation of citizens in the elections to be held under Assembly elections 2023, a voter awareness board for signature campaign was installed at the gate of the Municipal Corporation office under the sweep activity.
On Wednesday, the signature campaign was launched by Commissioner Rajneesh Kasera with the signatures of Corporation Deputy Commissioner Finance Punit Shukla and Deputy Commissioner Devbala Piplonia. On this occasion, the Commissioner said that the corporation is continuously running an awareness campaign to encourage voters to use their franchise fearlessly and as much as possible in the upcoming assembly elections.
''We, the citizens of India, with full faith in democracy, take this oath that we will maintain the dignity of the democratic traditions of our country and will keep intact the dignity of free, fair and peaceful elections, fearlessly irrespective of religion, class, a pledge board was signed stating that everyone will exercise their right to vote in all elections without being influenced by caste, community, language or any other inducement.
On this occasion, Corporation Assistant Engineer Indu Bharti, Deputy Engineer Dinesh Chauhan, Dilip Malviya, Raghavendra Sen, Umesh Chaturvedi, Bholasih Jadon, Munna Qureshi, Hemraj Sangate, Azimuddin Shaikh, Vishal Jagtap, Manish Mandloi, Sunil Joshi, Himmat Shinde, Narayan Shriwas, Anand Dubey. Corporation employees including Muzaffar Ali, Kamla Bangar, Kala Suryavanshi, Afsha Shaikh, etc. also attended and participated in the signature campaign.
