Students organization members held a symbolic silent demonstration at 4 pm on Friday in protest against the registration of a robbery case against ABVP workers who snatched the keys from the driver of a judge's car in an emergency to save the life of the Vice Chancellor of a university traveling in a train in Gwalior. This information was given by the organization's provincial minister Sandeep Vaishnav in a press conference organized at Chhatra Shakti Bhawan, the headquarters of ABVV in Bhopal on Friday.
He said that the Honorable Court should show sympathy in the matter and withdraw the case registered against both the workers. Sandeep said that from Saturday ABVP will start a campaign to close the college in Gwalior. National Minister of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad Shalini Verma, State Minister Sandeep Vaishnav and Bhopal Metropolitan Minister Prabhakar Mishra were present in the press conference.
Sandeep Vaishnav said that we welcome the effort to save VC's life. We will make continuous efforts to provide justice to ABVP workers. Even if we have to adopt an aggressive attitude in the future, we will continue our efforts.
Actually, the health of the Vice Chancellor of a University of UP had suddenly deteriorated. Since an ambulance and no other vehicle was available in time, the university students spotted a car. The students immediately pushed the driver of the car aside and made the Vice Chancellor lie inside. After this he directly reached Jayarogya Hospital. The Vice Chancellor died here. Here, the judge's driver complained to the police about snatching the car, under which these students are being prosecuted.
Vice Chancellor was going from Delhi to Jhansi by train
Ranjit Singh Yadav, vice chancellor of a university in Uttar Pradesh, lived in Dwarka sector of Delhi, he was going from Delhi to Jhansi by Dakshin Express on December 10.
As soon as the train left Agra, he had a heart attack near Dholpur. As soon as he left Agra, his health started deteriorating. By the time he reached Morena, his condition deteriorated considerably. The students sought immediate medical care from the Railways in Morena, but it was not available.
Railway officials told them that the ambulance remains alert 24 hours outside Gwalior station. From here they can be taken directly to the hospital. When we came out at Gwalior station, no ambulance was found there.
The condition of the Vice Chancellor was very critical. Here the students saw a car (the judge's car). He put the Vice Chancellor in the car and pushed the driver and drove towards the hospital.
However, Ranjit Singh died after reaching the hospital, after which the students came back and returned the car. In this matter, the police registered a case against the students.
National Minister of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Shalini Verma said that ABVP will run 'Campus Chalo Abhiyan' from January to ensure that all students reach the campus. Under the leadership of Vidyarthi Parishad, the students of the country will celebrate Deepotsav on the day of Shri Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha.
